Shannon aubut
Director, Employee Experience
Shannon believes that great organizations start with great people. With a career rooted in organizational development, people leadership and change management, she brings a thoughtful, strategic and people-first perspective to the “e” team.
Shannon holds a Master’s in Management Sciences with a specialization in Organizational Development from HEC Montréal, a Graduate Microprogram in Health and Social Services Management from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychoeducation. She is also a Chartered Professional in Human Resources - CRHA/CPHR - (and that’s what we call a wealth of knowledge)! With her extensive training and education, Shannon is an expert of providing support and professional building blocks to our team.
Her professional experience spans both the public and private sectors, along with some consulting experience. Across each of these environments, Shannon has developed a passion for helping people and organizations navigate change, grow their talents and create workplaces where people can do their best work. A natural collaborator and active listener, Shannon brings strengths in leadership, talent development, strategic thinking, problem-solving and emotional intelligence. She believes that understanding people is just as important as understanding the business, and that meaningful employee experiences don't happen by accident.
Her commitment to people extends well beyond the workplace. Shannon was a Chair Member of the Action-Santé Foundation from 2023 to 2025 when she lived in Amqui, which supports the health and well-being of generations in the Matapédia community by helping maintain and improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services. She has also initiated and organized a community donation drive to collect essential items for newly arrived immigrant nurses settling in the region.
Outside of “e,” Shannon enjoys reading, heading to the gym, and practicing hot yoga. She also has a longstanding interest in real estate that eventually turned into a rather ambitious passion project. In 2023, she purchased a 150-year-old duplex in Amqui, Quebec, and has been renovating it ever since. During a major renovation phase in 2025, Shannon took on the roles of both general contractor and painter - a crash course in home renovation, problem-solving, and discovering that absolutely nothing in a 150-year-old house is ever “a quick fix.” It was also a humbling reminder that even the most detailed renovation plan is really more of a suggestion - especially
