With a background rooted in design, Lujayn sees the world a little differently; always noticing the spaces, details and moments that make people feel something. With a Bachelor’s [Honours] in Interior Design and a Post Graduate [Honours] in Design Management, she brings together creativity and organization to help turn ideas into experiences.
Lujayn likes to think of events as “interior in motion.” While interior design creates a space for people to exist in, events create a moment for people to connect, celebrate and make a memory. Her design background has taught her how to curate spaces, tell stories and understand how an environment can influence the way people feel [just a few of the skills she brings to the world of live experiences].
A natural visual communicator, Lujayn will happily admit that she understands a moodboard better than an Excel sheet [although she’s pretty good at both]. She thrives on problem-solving under pressure, bringing structure to creative ideas and finding the details that help an experience come together.
Her creativity has been recognized throughout her academic journey. In 2025, she received the Major Design Project Award for her dissertation in Design Management, which also earned a place on the Dean’s Honour List. Earlier in life, she was named Artist of the Year in Fine Arts during high school.
Outside of “e,” Lujayn volunteers with Smile Canada, supporting events that bring children with disabilities together to connect and experience a sense of belonging. She is also a big lover of poetry, an avid motorcycle rider and an explorer who has travelled to 21 countries. Having grown up across seven countries, she eventually fell in love with Toronto and [lucky for us] has decided to call it home!
