Jessie brings a global perspective and a grounded, people-first approach to her role as Business Development Manager. With over a decade of experience in sales, hospitality, and event venues, spanning everything from mountain resorts to Western Canada's largest convention centre, she knows how to build relationships that drive results.
Her professional journey began with Prime World Tours, where she led inbound sales and guided Korean group tours through Alberta’s iconic landscapes. That passion for experience and connection carried her through roles at Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts and the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre, where she honed her skills in client service, logistics, and large-scale event sales. Most recently, she was part of the launch team for the newly opened BMO Centre at Stampede Park, working to position the cutting-edge space on a national stage.
Jessie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Apparel and Merchandising from Seoul Women’s University, and a certificate in Marketing Analytics from the University of California, Berkeley, proof that she’s as data-savvy as she is personable. Her volunteerism with PCMA Canada East, MPI Ottawa, and GlobalFest Calgary speaks to her commitment to community and lifelong learning.
Adaptable, curious, and endlessly patient [her mantra: “Things that matter take time”], Jessie thrives on uncovering the story behind every client’s vision. When she’s not connecting with people or digging into market trends, you’ll find her in the wild - hiking, backpacking, flying kites, or escaping into a sci-fi novel or economics podcast.
