For almost two decades, every year W. Brett Wilson throws a party to bring together his closest friends, not to celebrate him but to raise money for the City’s deserving causes. Garden Party is Calgary’s most coveted event of the summer.

  • The Experience

    Annually in June over 1,200 friends and supporters are invited to join W. Brett Wilson at his private residence garden [and front drive, entrance, and garage] to celebrate his love of music, friends, and family while supporting charitable mental health organizations that matter. 


    The MUST attend event of the summer is always themed [and sometimes kitschy]. The decor and culinary creations fully embrace the theme and creative flair, while guests are encouraged to dress up accordingly. Themes have included literal gardening, bright accessories, flamingos, gnomes, umbrellas, polka dots, tropical, paint splater, and even Christmas!


    Garden Party, or #OMGP [Oh My Garden Party], brings together stellar entertainment line ups of up and coming artists as well as headliners including Sarah McLachlan, Beverly Mahood, and Brett Kissel. 


    At this exclusive event guests are asked to provide a donation that is meaningful to them, plus one dollar. The most recent years have each raised approximately $400,000 each for adolescence mental health.
